Kiusino
Rapid-setting mortar for bedding and anchoring manhole covers.
Ready-mixed fiber-reinforced mortar with SCT (Shrinkage Control Technology), rapid setting and hardening, ideal for positioning, leveling and fixing manhole covers, gratings, hatches and drains on roads, walkways, sidewalks and parking lots. It can also be used to fix street furniture, permanent road signs, billboards, and fence or gate posts, or to fill holes and repair concrete walkways and roadways.

- quick reopening to traffic thanks to rapid setting and hardening;
- fully recyclable and/or disposable as inert waste at end of life;
- high durability thanks to its resistance to de-icing salts and low temperatures;
- resistant to oils and hydrocarbons thanks to its low permeability;
- dark gray–anthracite color, for municipalities that require an asphalt-like color when fixing manhole covers in asphalt road surfaces;
- can also be used in winter at low temperatures;
- tools can be cleaned with water before the product hardens;
- controlled shrinkage thanks to SCT (Shrinkage Control Technology).
Kiusino should be placed on concrete substrates, cement blinding, sand-cement precast elements or compacted granular sub-base that are stable and not prone to settlement. It can be applied in lateral contact with asphalt and bituminous mixes, but these must not form its base.
