Marmo K Floor ESA nhl
Mortar for seminato finishes with marble chips or cocciopesto on existing screeds and floors.
White or colored finish coating based on air lime, natural hydraulic lime, micronized geo-pozzolan, pure selected aggregates with a maximum grain size of 0.4 mm to 1.2 mm and celluloses, depending on the desired look, application and performance. It offers a unique look, with a degree and type of finish that can be tailored by how it is worked, high workability and ease of application, elasticity, bond strength, abrasion resistance and weather resistance. Limestone or silica chippings, glass fragments or cocciopesto can be added while mixing, or cocciopesto or chippings can be sown into the floor after laying, as long as the mix is still in its plastic phase. The type and amount of aggregate added during laying and the way the surface is finished make it possible to obtain many of the effects typical of "Venetian terrazzo" floors.
Marmo K Floor type ESA nhl is a natural inorganic product, not resin-based, very low in volatile organic compounds (VOC) and classifiable as class A+ under the French VOC – CMR Regulation, non-combustible and fully recyclable at end of life.
Marmo K Floor type ESA nhl is particularly suitable for creating "Venetian terrazzo" style finishes on natural hydraulic lime and/or cement or lime-cement base screeds, with or without radiant heating, provided they have suitable mechanical properties. It can be applied over gypsum base screeds after using a suitable sealing primer.
The substrate must be sound and cohesive, and free of dust, hairline cracks, salt efflorescence, oils, mold or other organic material, and in general of anything that could impair the bond of the finish coating.
Marmo K Floor type ESA nhl can be finished with natural or synthetic waxes, linseed oil or suitable consolidants and protective treatments to make the floor non-absorbent and easy to clean, or glossy if required.
