Rasante K FL 02

Special white skim coat with high workability, thixotropy, plasticity and elasticity, breathable, very low in volatile organic compounds and fully recyclable at end of life, based on FL B 3.5 lime compliant with UNI EN 459-1, pure selected aggregates and additives, suitable for:

• troweled marmorino skim coats on new indoor or outdoor plaster before painting;
• troweled marmorino skim coats on existing plaster, especially on protected or listed buildings, outdoors or indoors, after removing old paint or the old finishing coat and, if needed, applying a leveling layer of Rasante K FL 08 or 04;
• troweled marmorino skim coats on plasterboard, fiber cement or similar boards after preparing the surface with a reinforced skim coat of RALLK K OttO or K OttO nhl with glass fiber mesh.

Rasante K FL 02 has very low plastic shrinkage, bonds excellently to the substrate even when smooth and poorly absorbent, and offers excellent abrasion resistance and high durability against the weather. It is highly breathable and hygroscopic, does not form a vapor barrier, has a low content of water-soluble salts and a very low content of volatile organic compounds (VOC), contains no solvents or substances harmful to health and is fully recyclable at end of life.
